Positions: Photo Booth Attendant and Studio Intern
Compensation: Photo booth attendant - DOE $15-20/hr | Studio Intern is non-paid but with some paid opportunities & perks!
Hours: 5-8 hours (Start to Finish)

We provide photo booths for corporate events, weddings, birthdays, graduations, and many other types of events and private parties. Our company is growing rapidly and has ambitious growth plans, so we're looking to create a team of responsible, creative, intelligent, and friendly awesome individuals. 

As a design studio, we provide branding, web development, graphic design and photography work for creatives, small business owners and artists. If you are interested in the arts, design or business ownership - the studio intern position would be ideal for you. Learn the ins and outs of running a small business, working for yourself and pursuing your dreams. The studio intern position is a non-paid, credit position. However, for the right person - both the paid photo booth position & non-paid intern position can be combined. Studio intern positions earn credit with their school. Lunch is provided as well as other paid opportunities {e.g. on-location assignments, events at the studio, etc}

Studio Intern:
Must be passionate about design, art or photography and willing to help out wherever needed. You will be assisting our small studio with various office tasks and helping out with our photo and design-related production. This is a great opportunity to improve your Photoshop, Lightroom and InDesign skills and gain experience working in a design/photography studio. You will work with wonderful people who will respect you and teach you all that we can. This is a great learning opportunity and our goal is to make sure you get as much out of it as you can. We would like someone who can commit to at least 1-2 days a week, hours can be flexible. Photo Booth Attendant:
We're seeking friendly, and energetic attendants for our new open air photo booths. Job will entail delivery, setup and tending the photo booths at various events. Must be available to work weekends. Typical events last 2-4 hours (plus travel, set up and break down) and occur mostly on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. From start to finish, the entire compensated time may be 4-6 hours. Setup and break down time is included in the pay as listed in the ad description. Must be available to work (Friday's by 3 or 4pm). (Saturday's, days and/or evenings) and (Sunday's, days and/or evenings) Friday's and Saturday's are a MUST! Training is provided.

Photo Booth Attendant:

Event Start: 6:00 PM
Event End: 9:00 PM 
Break Down: 9:30 PM
Leave: 10PM

Photo Booth Event Hours: 3
Setup/Break Down Hours: 3 
Total Working Hours: 6

RESPONSIBILITIES
● Attend training
● Maintain perfect attendance and be on time! Because of the nature of our business, perfect attendance is a must! We do not tolerate late/no shows
● Be courteous, friendly, and professional at all times. 
● Transport, set up, break down photo booth
● Create a fun atmosphere and encourage guests to have a great time in the photo booth
● Assist guests in cutting strips for scrapbooks & assemble scrapbooks
● Keep photo booth clean and neat before and during the event
● Understand back-end operation of the photo booth
● Dress according to company policy for events 
● Must work one day a week, for 2-4 hours at the studio in Oakland, CA


SKILLS AND ABILITIES
● Must be able to be friendly, energetic and fun 
● Must have basic computer knowledge; excellent customer service skills
● Must have own transportation 
● Must be able to lift without assistance (50 lbs+/-). Attendants will load photo booth in and out of the vehicle and event venue
● Must have driver license/clean driving record, full insurance on their vehicle and reliable transportation
● Problem solver and can perform under stress well. "Small" tech issues arise occasionally
● Experience in the events industry or photography background is a plus


EVENT BOOKINGS:
Attendants are provided the option of which events they want. They can accept or decline events weeks or months in advance, unless there are last minute bookings in which they are contacted for availability.

MILEAGE AND PARKING:
Event mileage is paid $3 per mile after 30 miles from Oakland, CA 94607. 
Parking is pre-paid by company, event client or 100% reimbursed.

COMPENSATION:
Independent Contractor Opportunities Available.
Pay is dependent on experience. Will train truly motivated individuals with high potential.
Must be very outgoing and love getting people excited to take pictures. We are a fun company!
